Open Water Course in Minorca

Your first diving licence
To have the Open Water is to have the passport to visit 70% of the planet.
Dedicate only 3 mornings of your time during your holidays in Minorca.
The course consists of a theoretical part with a test at the end and practice in the sea where you will do safety exercises. We will start by checking the equipment and practicing in shallow water. Then, four boat trips to practice all the skills you need to dive around the world with confidence.
Online theory
Before starting the water practice, we will give you access to the SSI eLearning platform so that you can come with the theoretical part done. You can do it from home and from any device.
First day
We will start with a classroom lesson where we will give you an introduction to diving equipment and go over the main theoretical basics.
We will put on the equipment and practice a bunch of exercises at shallow water. We will do this directly in the sea, in the swimming area.
Second day
Two boat trips for two dives to a depth of 12m.
We will practice the mandatory exercises and repeat them as necessary until the student masters the techniques.
Third day
Another two dives where we will reach 18 metres. On the first one we will do more safety exercises and the last dive is a fun dive to enjoy what you’ve learnt during the course.
Exclusive school
We have a dive centre dedicated only to the diving training. Not mixing activities we ensure that all divers do the most appropriate dive for their level.
