Become a real advanced diver
If you are already an Open Water Diver, we offer you 3 different itineraries to become a better diver according to your objectives.
Level 2 classic
1. Advanced Adventurer
Five dives to introduce you to specialty diving. With this qualification, you will be able to dive to 30m, do night dives, wreck dives and dives that require more training. The usual level 2 course.
Online theory
Before starting the practical part, we will give you access to the SSI eLearning platform so that you can come with the theoretical part done. You can do it from home and from any device.
First day
Two boat dives: buoyancy and underwater navigation.
We will practise buoyancy with a wing instead of a normal jacket. During the orientation dive, we will also practice throwing a buoy.
Second day
Two other boat trips during the morning where we will do the deep dive and the species identification dive.
We collaborate with ‘Observadores del Mar’, a citizen science project that helps the scientific community. We will teach you how to make a fish transect and upload the data to the platform.
Third day
Last dive to finish the course: Nitrox. Depending on the dive site, can be combined with caves or currents.

2. Advanced Adventurer + Nitrox
Six dives to introduce you to specialty diving. It will enable you to dive to a maximum depth of 30m, do night dives, wreck dives and other types of dives that require a little more training.

First day

3. Advanced Open Water + Nitrox + three qualifications
The course that qualifies you for any type of dive. We will go deeper in buoyancy techniques with pro equipment (we will use wing on all dives and tek hose configuration (main regulator with 2,10m hose and octopus on the neck). We will dive deeper and practice several times practicing cases that you will encounter when diving around the world. Buoy drops will be practised on all dives. You need to log at least 24 dives for your Advanced Open Water certification to be issued.

First day
Dive 1: Buoyancy
Dive 2: Buoyancy + Species identification (in this first dive, we will learn to recognise the typical species of Menorca/Mediterranean, including invertebrates).
Second day
Dive 3: Deep. We will go down to a maximum depth of 30m. Depending on the dive site, we will practice using the current hook.
Dive 4: Species identification: we will make a transect and upload the results to the Observadores del Mar website.
Third day
Dive 5: Deep + Nitrox – We will dive to a maximum depth of 35 m. Depending on the dive site, we will practise using the current hook.
Dive 6: Deep + Nitrox – We will dive to a maximum of 40m. Depending on the dive site, we will practise using the current hook.
